Full description and specifications

Selenicereus chrysocardium , also known as Marniera chrysocardium , is a spectacular epiphytic cactus, originally from the tropical forests of Mexico. It is appreciated for its long, flat, ribbon-shaped leaves and large, fragrant flowers, which are particularly decorative. The plant is ideal for hanging pots.

Stems : The stems are flat, juicy, ribbon-shaped, with wavy or jagged edges. They can reach lengths of 1-2 meters, being ideal for hanging pots or to create decorative effects.

Flowers : The flowers are large (20-30 cm in diameter), white or cream, with very visible golden stamens. They are fragrant and open at night, attracting nocturnal pollinators. Flowering occurs in mature plants, usually under optimal conditions of care.

Roots : The plant has aerial roots, characteristic of epiphytic cacti, which allow it to absorb moisture from the air.

Growth : It is a vigorous plant, with fast growth in favorable conditions.
