Sansevieria is a plant native to Africa, Madagascar, and southern Asia, and is grown here as a houseplant.

Care:

1. Light: Prefers moderate to strong indirect light. It can also tolerate low light conditions, but the leaf colors become more vibrant when it receives brighter light. It can be placed in direct sunlight, but in moderation.

2. Watering: It is a drought-resistant plant, so watering should be moderate. Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings to prevent root rot. During colder months, watering frequency can be reduced.

3. Soil: Needs well-drained soil, suitable for cacti and succulents. Adding sand or perlite to the soil mix ensures proper drainage.

4. Temperature: Thrives at temperatures between 18-30°C. Avoid exposure to temperatures below 10°C, as it is sensitive to cold.

5. Humidity: Sansevieria Hahnii 'Jade Multicolor' tolerates low humidity, making it suitable for dry environments. It does not require additional misting.

6. Fertilizing: Fertilize the plant once a month during the growing season (spring and summer) with a diluted liquid fertilizer for succulents or houseplants. It does not need frequent fertilizing during winter.

7. Repotting: Due to its slow growth, the plant needs repotting only once every 2-3 years or when roots come out of the pot.

8. Benefits: It is known for its ability to purify the air by removing toxins such as formaldehyde and benzene, making it ideal for indoor spaces.

Due to its brittle leaves, this plant may show small blemishes caused by handling. These do not affect the plant’s health or growth.
