The leaves are elongated, up to 40 cm long and up to 15 cm wide. They have a heart shape at the base and taper towards the tip. Young leaves are light green with white or yellow spots. As they grow, the leaves become darker, and the spots become larger.

The stem is long and thin, with nodes at regular intervals. The nodes are where the leaves and aerial roots emerge.

Philodendron Paraiso Verde is a relatively easy-to-care-for plant. It needs indirect light but can also tolerate lower light. It should not be placed in direct sunlight, as the leaves can burn.

The soil must be well-drained. The plant should be watered when the soil is dry to the touch. It should not be overwatered, as this can lead to root rot.

The specimens may also have leaves with defects.
