Masdevallia Red Magic

Masdevallia Magic Orchid, with deep maroon flowers, is a botanical species of the Masdevallia genus, native to the Eastern Cordillera of Colombia, inhabiting areas at altitudes between 2600 and 3800 m.
A small-sized taxon that prefers cool climates and terrestrial habitats, it differs from most orchids by lacking storage organs for water and nutrients, with the species' survival depending solely on the availability of necessary resources, a fact that indicates to the grower the need for frequent fertilization and regular watering.
