Hoya paziae - full pots!

Hoya paziae is an accepted botanical species, described in 1990 by Kloppenburg, native to the Philippines. It is an epiphytic subshrub with an upright, bushy growth habit. The foliage is glossy and dark green; young shoots may be reddish before becoming darker. Under good growing conditions, umbels of white, finely pubescent, star-shaped flowers with a pink-burgundy corona appear. The plant is sold as a fragrant plant. IML 1596 is a collection number, not a synonym. Flowering depends on the plant’s maturity.

Foliage and growth. The leaves are oval, with short tips, and glossy, becoming dark green when mature. Young shoots may have a reddish tint. It has no splash and no variegation.

Flowers and fragrance. The gallery shows white, star-shaped flowers with finely pubescent lobes and a pink-burgundy corona. The buds are white and round. The number of flowers per umbel varies; we do not guarantee 20 flowers or any fixed duration. The fragrance has been horticulturally confirmed as sweet. Flowering depends on the plant’s maturity and growing conditions.

Identity. The accepted name is Hoya paziae Kloppenb., published in Fraterna in 1990. Its native range is the Philippines. It has also circulated as Hoya sp. aff. paziae Philippines IML 1596; IML 1596 remains the collection label. The title is not changed.

Approximate height, including the pot: 30–40 cm. The ceramic pot is not included in the price.
