Hoya bella 'Lida Buis' (Variegata) is a cultivar with true interior variegation: the center of the leaf is cream or pale yellow, while the margin remains green. It is neither a splash nor the albomarginata form 'Anneke Buis'. The foliage is small and lanceolate, borne on thin, trailing stems. This line comes from the Buis family's greenhouses in Aalsmeer. The species is an epiphytic subshrub native from Assam to Myanmar. It produces umbels of white, star-shaped flowers with pink or purple coronas. The flowers are fragrant. Flowering depends on the plant's maturity and growing conditions.

Foliage and growth. The leaves are small, glossy, and lanceolate, with pointed tips. The pattern is interior: a cream, pale yellow, or chartreuse area in the center, surrounded by a green band. The width of the band and the saturation of the center vary from leaf to leaf; new stems may be paler. The growth habit is compact and trailing. The vine's size varies from one specimen to another.

Identity. Hoya bella Hook. is an accepted botanical name, published in 1848. It also circulates under the names Luis Buis or mediopicta.

The decorative pot is not included in the price.

Some specimens from this batch may show traces of spider mites – they have been treated and are now healthy and pest-free.

Substrate: use an airy, well-draining mix suitable for epiphytic species. We recommend the professional substrate for Hoya and Anthurium - SG Mix.
