Hoya aff. vitellina (super splash) is the label under which this batch is circulated. The aff. prefix indicates an affinity with Hoya vitellina Blume, not a confirmed identification. Super splash describes the dense silver splash on the foliage; it is not white or cream variegation. Batch photos show firm, oval-elliptic, green leaves with irregular silver speckles. Intensity varies from one leaf to another. Flowering depends on the plant’s maturity and growing conditions.

Foliage and splash. The foliage is oval to elliptic, glossy, with a visible central vein. The light-colored spots are splash. Some leaves have subtle speckles, while others have dense coverage. The growth habit is climbing or trailing. We do not attribute to this batch the burgundy margins described for IML 1348 clones; in this batch, the leaf blade is green with splash, without a colored border.

Identity. The aff. (affinis) label does not elevate the plant to species status. vitellina is often associated with accession IML 1348 / IPPS 7203; Secret Garden keeps that line under its own SKU. No native range.
