Gymnocalycium ragonesei
Gymnocalycium ragonesei is a cactus species native to Argentina. This succulent plant has a globular shape, reaching a diameter of up to 7 cm.
The cactus’s surface is light green and covered with numerous round tubercles. Thin brown or gray spines grow from each tubercle, forming an attractive pattern.
The flowers of Gymnocalycium ragonesei are small and white or light pink, appearing at the top of the plant. The flowers can reach up to 3 cm in diameter, adding a touch of color and contrast to the plant.
Gymnocalycium ragonesei is an easy-to-care-for plant that grows best in indirect or filtered light. It prefers well-draining soil to prevent root rot. This plant requires a dormant period during winter, when watering should be reduced.
