Graptopetalum bellum, also known as the "Taco Plant," is an attractive succulent due to its unique shape and striking flowers. It features fleshy, thick leaves that grow in tight rosettes.

The leaves are usually light green, with shades of pink or violet along the edges, depending on sun exposure. Its flowers are particularly impressive, with red or pink petals and a white center, appearing in spring.

Care for Graptopetalum bellum includes the following main points:

  1. Light: This succulent prefers full or partial sunlight. Proper sun exposure helps deepen the leaf colors and encourages abundant flowering. In very hot climates, protect the plant from direct midday sun to avoid burns.

  2. Soil: Graptopetalum bellum requires well-drained soil, ideally a mix for cacti or succulents. Ensure good drainage to prevent excess water retention, which can cause root rot.

  3. Watering: Water moderately. Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. During summer, the plant may need more frequent watering, but it is essential not to overdo it, especially in low humidity conditions.

  4. Temperature: Graptopetalum bellum is hardy to cooler temperatures but does not tolerate frost. If the temperature drops below zero degrees Celsius, it is advisable to move the plant indoors or protect it.

  5. Fertilizing: Fertilize moderately during the active growth period, spring and summer, using a diluted fertilizer specially formulated for succulents.

At the time of listing, all plants showed buds or flowers – however, these may be lost before order processing.
