This "monstrose" form is a rare natural mutation of the species Epiphyllum guatemalense and is mainly grown for its decorative foliage, with abundant and architectural growth.

Although primarily valued for its foliage, this variety can also produce large, white, trumpet-shaped flowers under good light and stable conditions, usually at night.
