Bulbophyllum mastersianum is an epiphytic species of the Orchidaceae family, genus Bulbophyllum, native to Southeast Asia, including parts of Malaysia and Indonesia. It has ovoid, unifoliate pseudobulbs, 2-4 cm long, densely arranged on a short rhizome. The leaf, lanceolate, fleshy, measures 5-10 cm long. The inflorescence is erect or pendent, bearing 1-3 waxy flowers, 1-2 cm in diameter, with yellow-green sepals and petals, sometimes dotted with purple. The labellum is small, mobile, with a characteristic sweet smell. It requires high humidity, diffused light and temperatures of 22-30°C. Propagation is by dividing the rhizome.
