The Peperomia family is a very large plant family, consisting of approximately 500 species. Most Peperomia species come from the Amazon basin in South America, where they grow in warm conditions.
Light: Place in a bright place, but without direct sun.
Soil: Grows well in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soils or in peat-based soils (2 parts peat and 1 part perlite or sand)
Temperature: Prefer temperatures of 18-24 °C, not lower than 15 °C.
Water: water moderately, but consistently during the growing season. Let the soil dry out between waterings. Reduce watering during the winter season.
Fertilizer: Fertilize monthly in spring and summer with a diluted liquid fertilizer. Do not fertilize during the winter season.
Careful! The leaves of this plant are fragile and can break easily during transport.
