The crocus ‘Romance’ is a botanical variety of crocus valued for its delicate flowers in warm shades of pale yellow, with a natural and elegant appearance. It blooms very early, often immediately after the snow melts, being one of the first sources of color in the garden at the end of winter.

Characteristics:

• bulbous crocus (corm)
• pale yellow flowers, sometimes with slight creamy hints
• compact growth, natural look
• very early blooming, late winter – early spring

Growing conditions:

• light: sun or partial shade
• soil: well-drained, loose; does not tolerate excess moisture
• watering: moderate, especially during the growth period
• minimum hardiness temperature: down to about -20°C

Advantages

• ideal for borders, rock gardens, lawns (naturalizing), and window boxes
• very easy to grow and reliable

After flowering, the leaves should be left to dry naturally to restore nutrient reserves. In heavy soils, improving drainage is recommended.
