Stapelia divaricata (Serif Star)
Stapelia divaricata, popularly Steaua serifului, is a succulent plant belonging to the Apocynaceae family, originally from South Africa. It is known for its unusual flowers and for the unique attraction it represents in collections of succulent plants.
The flowers of Stapelia divaricata are its most distinctive features. They are large, fleshy and have a star shape. Usually, the flowers are yellow or orange with various patterns or striations of a dark brown or red.
Characteristics:

- temperature: supports negative temperatures of -5 degrees Celsius
- watering: water regularly from March to September, letting the substrate dry between waterings. In the winter months, watering is reduced or it is left unwatered but placed in a cooler area.
