Full description and specifications
Sulcorebutia gemmae is a species of cactus originating from the central region of South America, especially from Bolivia. It is a small and compact cactus, with a globular or slightly cylindrical shape, reaching heights of approximately 5-10 cm and a similar diameter.

The distinguishing feature of Sulcorebutia gemmae is the numerous tubercles or rounded protrusions that cover the surface of the cactus. These tubers are arranged in a spiral pattern, giving it a fascinating appearance. A group of small and sharp thorns develops on each tuber.

Sulcorebutia gemmae flowers are usually small and appear at the top of the cactus. They can be different colors, such as pink, red, orange or yellow.

This cactus prefers well-drained soil and direct sun exposure. It is adapted to arid conditions and can withstand drought. Sulcorebutia gemmae is appreciated in cacti and succulent collections for its interesting appearance and colorful flowers.
