Stapelia flavopurpurea (serif star)

Stapelia flavopurpurea is another species of succulent plant from the genus Stapelia, also known as "Steaua Serifului". This species is also native to South Africa and is valued for its distinct and beautiful flowers.

Care:
- location: in a bright area, also supports direct exposure to the sun
- temperature: supports negative temperatures of -5 degrees Celsius
- watering: water regularly from March to September, letting the substrate dry between waterings. In the winter months, watering is reduced or it is left unwatered but placed in a cooler area.
- the substrate: well-drained, sandy (two parts universal soil, one part sand and one part perlite/pumice stone).
