A medium-sized trailing succulent plant, Senecio Herreianus forms a cascading curtain of thin, flexible stems surrounded by leaves. They produce small white flowers near the plant's surface. Despite its delicate appearance, this unusual succulent grows quickly, reaching up to 60-90 cm. If the long stems become heavy, you can prune them.
Like other succulents, senecio needs well-drained soil. A mix of cactus soil combined with perlite for better drainage (1:1) or sandy soil. Senecio requires strong but indirect light and should be protected from the harsh afternoon sun. Water thoroughly, then allow to dry slightly between waterings.
