Full description and specifications

Sansevieria 'Star Canyon Granite' is a variety of succulent plant known for its attractive and robust leaves. This plant is part of the Asparagaceae family and is a popular choice for interiors due to its decorative appearance and easy care.

Care:

  1. Light: The plant prefers moderate indirect light, but can also tolerate low light conditions. Avoid direct exposure to the strong sun, which can burn the leaves.

  2. Watering: Sansevieria requires moderate watering. Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. In winter, reduce the frequency of watering to prevent root rot.

  3. Temperature: It does well in most temperature conditions in an ordinary house. Avoid exposure to temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius.

  4. Humidity: It does not require special humidity levels; it can tolerate dry indoor air, but an occasional spray can help remove dust from the leaves.

  5. Fertilization: Fertilize the plant with a succulent plant fertilizer during the growing season, spring and summer, once a month.

  6. Repotting: Sansevieria 'Star Canyon Granite' grows slowly, so frequent repotting is not necessary. Repot only when the roots start to emerge from the pot, usually every 2-3 years.

Sansevieria is famous for turning CO2 into O2 at night. It is said that in an environment where you have no fresh air at all, if you have 6-8 Sansevieria plants per person, they will produce enough oxygen to live. NASA has placed it among the plants that absorb toxins, especially nitrogen oxides and formaldehyde.

The decorative bowl is not included in the price.
