Rhipsalis ewaldiana is a tropical epiphytic cactus, appreciated for its thin, green, arching stems, which gradually form a lush, trailing mass. Unlike desert cacti, this species comes from more humid environments and prefers filtered light, an airy substrate, and somewhat more regular watering.

It is an excellent choice for hanging pots, high shelves, or stands from which the stems can naturally trail down. Under good growing conditions, it may produce small, discreet flowers, sometimes followed by decorative fruit.

🌱 Secret Garden substrate recommendation

👉 For optimal development, we recommend Secret Garden Substrate for Cacti, Succulents & Adenium, an airy and well-drained mix suitable for plants sensitive to excess water. As Rhipsalis is an epiphytic cactus, its substrate can be kept somewhat more evenly moist than that of desert cacti.

📌 Note

The appearance and length of the stems may vary from one specimen to another, depending on age, season, and growing conditions.

The stems are relatively fragile and may show bends, small breaks, or other cosmetic imperfections as a result of handling and transport. These aspects do not normally affect the plant's viability, and under favorable conditions it will produce new branches.

Height including pot: 15-20 cm
The plant is sold without flowers. The ceramic pot is not included in the price.
