Philodendron gloriosum 'Snow Leopard'

Philodendron gloriosum 'Snow Leopard' is a spectacular variegated selection of the species Philodendron gloriosum, valued for its large, heart-shaped leaves with a velvety texture and strongly contrasting veins.

The variegation appears irregularly in shades of cream, lime yellow, light green and intense green, and each leaf may have a different pattern. Some may display fine marbling, while others may have sectors or larger areas of lighter colour.

Unlike many climbing Philodendron, Philodendron gloriosum has a creeping rhizome that develops horizontally on the surface of the substrate.

• Planting: the rhizome should not be buried deeply; it is preferable for it to remain on the surface or very close to the substrate level

📌 Note about variegation

Variegation is natural and cannot be guaranteed to be identical on all leaves or on future growth. The plant may produce leaves with more or less cream, lime or green, and the colour distribution may vary significantly from one growth cycle to another.

New leaves may initially have different colouring, which changes as they mature.

Very light-coloured areas contain less chlorophyll and are naturally more sensitive to intense light, dehydration and fluctuations in environmental conditions, and may develop spots or browning edges more easily.

📌 Note regarding the plant's appearance

Each specimen is unique and may have a different shape, a different degree of variegation, its own leaf distribution and a different rhizome length.

The velvety leaves are sensitive to handling and transport and may show small spots, scratches, creases, dry edges or other aesthetic imperfections. These aspects do not normally affect the plant's viability.
