This soil for carnivorous plants is a top-quality substrate, specially formulated for growing and transplanting all types of insect-eating plants such as Dionaea (Venus Flytrap), Drosera, Nepenthes, Sarracenia, etc. It contains fibrous peat, black peat, and white peat, chosen to create an acidic, well-aerated, and nutrient-poor environment, exactly to the liking of carnivorous plants.

The substrate is enriched with a small dose of fertilizer (PG mix 12-14-18, 0.5 g), enough for about 3 months, without harming the sensitive roots. The pH of 3.8–4.2 maintains ideal conditions for healthy growth.
