Matucana madisoniorum is a rare and attractive cactus, native to Peru, valued for its globular, symmetrical shape and its striking flowers. The plant has a deep green body of small size, covered with rounded ribs and short or even absent spines, giving it an elegant and distinctive appearance. Its flowers are large, tubular, red, orange, or sometimes pink, and open at the top of the cactus, adding a touch of exotic charm.

Care:

Light: Matucana madisoniorum prefers strong, indirect light. It can be exposed to direct sunlight in the morning or evening but must be protected from the intense midday sun, which can cause burns.
Watering: Like most cacti, it needs moderate watering. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. During the resting period (winter), watering should be greatly reduced or even stopped entirely.
