Limequat Lara (lime x kumquat)

Limequat or “Limonella” is the result of crossing a lime with a kumquat. The fruits have a sweet taste, bittersweet pulp, and can be eaten whole. 
With a strong acidic juice containing considerable amounts of vitamin C, Lara fruits have become a popular ingredient in food and drink recipes.

Note: All citrus plants we sell are edible species (meaning they produce fruits that can be consumed), with the mention that some producers (such as Citrina) apply for additional cultivation certifications for consumption as “edible fruits.”
