Hoya Tequila Sunrise

Hoya 'Tequila Sunrise' is a commercial hybrid attributed to Mike Bernardo. It is not the same cultivar as Hoya 'Sunrise' (lacunosa x obscura). The foliage is glossy, with prominent veins and occasional silver splashes. In bright light, the leaves may turn bronze or red; not all specimens display this color at the same time. The flowers are creamy yellow, with reddish tips, and have a light citrus fragrance. This lot is the small cutting, separated from the established plant in the pot. Blooming depends on the plant's maturity and growing conditions.

Foliage and growth. The leaves are ovate or elliptical, thick, with dark veins that stand out in relief. Some blades have irregular silver splashes. New shoots may emerge lighter or bronze-colored.
