Hoya sp. 'Rangsan' (Splash) is a cultivar valued for its elongated, green foliage covered with irregular silver markings. The name 'Rangsan' is retained as the name of the lot, as the botanical identity at species level has not yet been confirmed. The selection has a vining habit and remains decorative through the contrast between the green tissue and the splash effect, even outside the flowering period. The appearance of each specimen is naturally variable.

Horticultural identity. The plant circulates in collections as Hoya sp. 'Rangsan'. Some horticultural opinions place it close to Hoya latifolia, but no published botanical identification confirming this classification has been found. For this reason, 'Rangsan' is not presented as an accepted species, synonym, or collection number.

Foliage and splash effect. The leaves are elongated to lanceolate, firm and green, with irregularly distributed silver markings. “Splash” describes the visible effect of these reflective areas and is not synonymous with variegation. The intensity, size and distribution of the markings may vary between plants and between leaves on the same plant; no leaf should be expected to exactly reproduce the pattern shown in the photographs.

Flowers and fragrance. Under good growing conditions, it may produce umbels with light-coloured, waxy flowers. It is sold with the note that the flowers are fragrant and produce nectar. Flowering depends on the maturity of the specimen and growing conditions, while fragrance intensity and the amount of nectar may vary.

Commercial details. Some specimens may have leaves with defects caused by handling or international transport. The degree of development and branching varies depending on the season and lot. Each pot contains 1–2 plants at different stages of development. The decorative pot is not included in the price.

Substrate: use an airy, well-draining mix suitable for epiphytic species. We recommend the professional substrate for Hoya and Anthurium - SG Mix.
