Hoya compacta 'Regalis' (white-margined)
Hoya compacta 'Regalis' (white-margined) - also known as Hoya Hindu Rope albomarginata or Hoya monstruosa albomarginata. It is a plant with hanging vines, compact, covered with twisted leaves, with white edges, occasionally with a splash of silver.
The flowers are white or pale pink, appear among the fleshy leaves, last 5-7 days and have an interesting scent similar to that of almonds.
The origin of the plant is still uncertain and debated - initially it was published as Hoya carnosa 'Compacta' being considered a cultivar of carnosa, but later it was republished as a distinct species, the name currently considered correct being Hoya compacta.
