Citrus medica var. digitata (Hand of Buddha)

Citrus medica var. digitata - also known as Hand of Buddha, due to the amazing appearance of its fruits. The fruits resemble a hand, or even an octopus.

This variety originates from Indochina and is an ancient mutation of a Citron. The fruits are large and contain no juice - the pulp is sweet, and the peel is very aromatic, leaving a pleasant balsamic taste.

Citrus medica var. digitata (Hand of Buddha) is grown and cared for like a regular lemon tree.

It is not recommended to expose it to temperatures below 3°C. In cold greenhouses, it can withstand temperatures down to -5°C.

Note: There is a possibility that the fruits may fall during transport.
