The Peperomia family is a very large family of plants, consisting of approximately 500 species. Most Peperomia varieties come from the Amazon basin in South America, where they grow in warm conditions.
Peperomia Piccolo Banda has thick leaves with shades of silvery green and dark green, sometimes purplish, striped lengthwise on fleshy red stems.
Light: Place in a bright spot, but avoid direct sunlight.
Soil: Thrives in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soils or peat-based soils (2 parts peat and 1 part perlite or sand).
Temperature: Prefers temperatures of 18-24 °C, not lower than 15 °C.
Water: Water moderately but consistently during the growing season. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Reduce watering during the winter season.
Fertilizer: Feed monthly in spring and summer with diluted liquid fertilizer. Do not fertilize during the winter season.
