Mangave is the result of crossing the Manfreda and Agave genera. These rare hybrids combine the best of both worlds: a better growth rate and the interesting patterns of the Manfreda genus, as well as the habitat and refinement of the Agave.
Placement: a sunny spot or at least 6 hours of sunlight per day. Placing it in a less bright area will cause the leaf colors to fade. Returning the plant to full sun will restore its color.
Water: prefers a bit more than other succulent plants. Regular watering keeps the plant actively growing. Overwatering leads to rotting, while lack of water slows the plant's growth.
Soil: well-drained.
Temperature: can tolerate short periods of low temperatures, but the minimum temperature it can withstand is 15 degrees Celsius.
