Sansevieria trifasciata 'Green Hahnii'

Sansevieria is a plant native to Africa, Madagascar, and southern Asia, and is grown here as a houseplant. It handles heat and strong light well, but will also tolerate shade. It is important that it is grown in well-drained substrate and not overwatered.

In compact varieties of Sansevieria, the leaves grow very close to each other, and as they open, fine marks or small scars caused by friction, pressure, or temporary drying of the tissue may remain. These are not diseases, do not affect photosynthesis, and are considered natural growth characteristics.
