Avoid proximity to any heat source.

Placement : it prefers direct sun, but it can be grown successfully in partially shaded locations or indoors (with the best possible light)
Planting : it can be done all year round, with an adequate supply of water for a few weeks. Ideally, it will be planted in spring or early autumn.
It can also be successfully grown in containers, so that it can be moved indoors for the winter holidays.

Pruning : it can be pruned to keep the shape or for branching. Dry parts will be removed. Aggressive trimming is not recommended.
Substrate : it is easily accommodated in acidic or neutral substrate, PH 4.7 - 7.0. A substrate with good drainage and good moisture retention will be used
Frost resistance : up to - 50 °C. Accommodating to the outside temperatures will be done gradually, if it was kept in protected spaces.
Possible problems : it is among the most resistant varieties of conifers in the world. Sensitive to the attacks of red spiders, excessive pollution, salt and marshy soils.
