Wilsonara Inferno
Wilsonara ‘Inferno’ is a spectacular hybrid orchid, resulting from crosses between several genera (mainly Cochlioda, Odontoglossum, and Oncidium), impressing with its vibrant flowers. It is an exceptional choice for orchid collectors and exotic plant lovers, thanks to the star-shaped flowers and dramatic visual effect.
🔹 Botanical characteristics:
• Plant type: epiphytic orchid with sympodial growth
• Foliage: medium green, lanceolate, with pseudobulbs at the base
• Flower spike: erect, can carry 6–12 large, star-shaped flowers
• Flowers: 5–8 cm in diameter, intensely colored – red and orange with white edges and yellow details on the lip
• Blooming: 1–2 times per year, generally in spring or autumn
☀️ Growing conditions:
• Light: bright indirect light, no intense direct sun
• Temperature: prefers moderate temperatures, 18–25°C during the day, minimum 12–14°C at night
• Humidity: 50–70%, with good ventilation
• Watering: regular – substrate should be kept slightly moist but with excellent drainage
• Substrate: special orchid mix – bark, perlite, sphagnum
• Fertilization: biweekly during active growth, with orchid fertilizer
