Tradescantia albiflora 'Nanouk' is a modern and highly decorative cultivar of the Commelinaceae family, prized for its foliage and compact habit. It was developed in the Netherlands through horticultural selection to obtain a more resistant, compact plant with spectacular coloration.

🔹 Recommended growing conditions:

• Light: Prefers bright indirect light . The better the light, the more intense the leaf colors become.

• Watering: Moderate. Allow the top layer of the substrate to dry out between waterings. It is sensitive to excess water and its stagnation in the pot, which can cause root or stem rot.

• Soil: Well-drained, aerated substrate, rich in organic matter. A potting mix for indoor plants, possibly with perlite or sand, is ideal.

• Humidity: It adapts well to normal indoor humidity, but appreciates a slightly humid environment, especially in the warm season. It does not require frequent spraying.

• Fertilization: Fertilize once every 2–4 weeks during the active growth period (spring–summer) with a balanced fertilizer, in reduced doses.

The shade of the leaves varies depending on growing conditions, season or the batch received.
