Philodendron tenue

Philodendron tenue - an epiphytic botanical species, native to the Ecuadorian jungles, notable for its spectacular foliage. A mature leaf can reach a length of about 90 cm.

Growth habit: Climbing plant. In the wild, it attaches to tree trunks - it tends to develop strong aerial roots. Both semi-terrestrial and epiphytic specimens have been found.

Synonyms: Philodendron ecuadorense, Philodendron gracile, Philodendron sodiroanum
