Chingruey's Goldstaff Phalaenopsis orchid - a complex hybrid, brand Ching Ruey Orch., registered at the Royal Horticultural Society in 2000, stands out for its compact size, an aspect that recommends it even for small spaces, and the easy growing conditions, which do not raise any problems at least for beginners, taking care similar to the common Phalaenopsis hybrids ( see here the care instructions for the Phalaenopsis orchid ).
The parents of this hybrid are Phalaenopsis ambonosa (amboinensis x venosa), as the seminal parent, and Taisuco Jewel, as the pollen parent. Sanderiana 1.56%, Phal. Lueddemanniana 1.29%, Phal. schilleriana 1.2%, Phal. aphrodite subsp. formosana 0.3%, unknown 0.3%, Phal. stuartiana 0.21%, Phal. pulcherrima 0.2%.
