Monstera minima 'Variegata' (Rhaphidophora tetrasperma 'Variegata')

Monstera minima, scientifically known as Rhaphidophora tetrasperma, is an attractive tropical plant. This plant is native to Southeast Asia and is prized for its perforated leaves, which are smaller and more delicate than those of other species in the Monstera genus. .

Care:

  1. Light: Monstera minima prefers indirect light, but can tolerate medium light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves.

  2. Watering: Watering should be done regularly, but make sure the soil dries out partially between waterings.

  3. Humidity: Being a tropical plant, it loves humidity. A humidity of 60% or higher is ideal. You can use a humidifier or place the plant on a tray with gravel and water to increase the humidity around it.

  4. Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures, between 18-30 degrees Celsius. Avoid cold drafts or sudden temperature fluctuations.

  5. Fertilization: Fertilize the plant during the growing season (spring-summer) once a month with a balanced fertilizer, diluted to half the recommended concentration. Avoid fertilizing during the cold season.

Height with pot included approx. 25-30 cm

Some leaves may show mechanical defects, but these do not affect the viability of the plant. Under optimal care, new leaves will develop normally.
