Monstera esqueleto is one of the most impressive Monstera species, valued for its very large, thin and elegantly perforated leaves. As the plant matures, each leaf develops wide splits and perforations, leaving the main veins visible and giving it a spectacular appearance, resembling a plant skeleton – a characteristic that also inspired the species’ name.

Native to the tropical forests of Central America, Monstera esqueleto is a vigorous climbing plant that reveals its true potential when grown on a moss or coco coir pole. Under optimal conditions, it can produce impressive leaves, quickly becoming the centerpiece of any tropical plant collection.
