Hoya hanhiae 'Pink' is the pink-flowered selection of a botanical species described from central Vietnam. The plant has thick, oval, glossy leaves with visible veins, while the star-shaped flowers open in umbels and are pleasantly fragrant, with the aroma more easily noticeable in the evening or at night. Flowering is relatively brief, but a mature plant can produce several umbels. The 'Pink' label describes the commercial flower color.

Foliage and growth. The leaves are thick, oval to elliptical, glossy green, and marked with visible veins. The plant has a climbing habit and can be trained on a support.

Flowers and fragrance. The 'Pink' selection is grown for its pink, star-shaped, fragrant flowers. The sweet aroma is described as more noticeable at night. Individual flowers may last for a relatively short period, approximately three to four days, while the shade and intensity of the fragrance may vary depending on the clone and growing conditions.

Botanical identity and origin. The accepted botanical name is Hoya hanhiae V.T.Pham & Aver. The species was published online in 2014 and in the printed volume in 2015, based on material from central Vietnam. The accepted range is Vietnam, and the described habitat includes lowland tropical forests near the coast, on sandy soils. 'Pink' remains the label for the color form.

Substrate: use an airy, well-drained mix suitable for epiphytic species. We recommend the professional substrate for Hoya and Anthurium - SG Mix.
