Hoya finlaysonii (Sabah)

Hoya finlaysonii - a rare species, native to Penang, Malaysia. The plant is highly sought after and valued for its striking foliage - large, thick leaves with prominent veins and splashes that manage to impress any collector. The flowers are spectacular, with a cinnamon scent and a lifespan of 3-4 days.
Hoya finlaysonii is considered easy to grow when provided with proper warmth and humidity. Flowering can occur several times throughout the year, but the plant tends to drop buds when the microclimate is unstable - temperature changes, drafts, or air that is too dry. Most often, after a failed flowering, the old stems produce new buds.
