Dendrobium Burana White 'Giant' (Dendrobium Phalaenopsis) - XL flowers

Dendrobium Burana White ‘Giant’ (Dendrobium Phalaenopsis type) is a Thai hybrid from the Dendrobium Phalaenopsis group (Orchidaceae family), from the Burana White grex (Adisakdi White x Hirota White, registered in 1999 by N. Buranaraktham). The ‘Giant’ clone is a selection with larger flowers.

Botanical characteristics:

• Flowers: Pure white, generously sized (up to 10 cm – typical of the ‘Giant’ clone, above the grex average). Classic Den-Phal shape, with broad, rounded petals. Lightly scented or unscented.
• Habit: Medium to large plant, with robust canes and green leaves. Vigorous growth.
• Special features: A hybrid from the Burana line, appreciated for its clean white flowers and abundant blooming. The ‘Giant’ clone stands out for its larger flowers.
