Bulbophyllum sikkimense

Bulbophyllum sikkimense is a species of orchid in the genus Bulbophyllum, one of the largest genera of orchids. This species is native to the mountainous regions of Asia, particularly the Sikkim region of India, hence its name. It is an epiphyte, meaning that in its natural environment it grows on other plants but does not extract nutrients from them.

The plant has small pseudobulbs from which grow lanceolate or oval leaves, usually dark green in color.
