Hoya paziae is a fascinating species of Hoya, native to the Philippines, where it grows as an epiphyte in warm, damp forests. This variety stands out with its glossy dark green leaves, which take on a striking reddish hue during the young growth stage, gradually turning into a deep green as they mature. Its flowers are true gems: small, star-shaped, about 25 mm in diameter, white with delicate purple touches in the crown. They form in clusters of up to 20 flowers, giving off a sweet and pleasant scent that can last up to 7 days.

Hoya paziae grows upright and bushy. It prefers strong indirect light and a warm environment, with temperatures between 15-35°C, being considered an intermediate plant in terms of care needs. It requires well-drained soil and moderate watering, with reduced frequency during winter. It is a low-maintenance species – needing light feeding during the growing period. Previously known as Hoya sp. aff. paziae Philippines IML 1596, it draws attention through its exotic beauty and adaptability to indoor conditions.
