Hoya carnosa ‘Freckles’ (Silver Splash) - full pots

Hoya Carnosa is the most well-known species of the genus and is also one of the most popular. The plant shows rapid growth and impressive foliage with great variability. The color of the leaves and flowering vary depending on the light exposure - plants grown in filtered light will have darker foliage but less abundant flowering, while plants grown in strong filtered light or direct sun can bloom throughout the warm season but will have much lighter-colored leaves, often sun-bleached.
The flowers are striking, white-pink in color, fragrant, with a lifespan of about 7 days. The plant easily blooms again on old flower stalks, and new stalks appear during the growing season on new vines. The flower color is influenced by the light the plant receives and by fertiliser.
