Hoya carnosa 'Nova Ghost' is a cultivar of Hoya carnosa with dense silver splash on its thick, glossy foliage. The markings are splash, not variegation; the silver appears on green tissue and covers the leaf blade to varying degrees. This batch is sold as plants with 2 leaves. The pattern varies from one specimen to another, and a random specimen from the available stock will be shipped. It is not the same cultivar as 'Grey Ghost'. The species' flowers are waxy, pink-and-white, fragrant umbels. Flowering depends on the plant's maturity and growing conditions.

Foliage and splash. The leaves are ovate, thick, and glossy. The background remains green; the silver appears as a dense metallic splash, not as a border or cream-colored center. In the batch shown in the photo, both leaf blades are almost covered with splash, but the intensity varies from one leaf to another. We do not promise a fully silver leaf blade on every specimen.

Flowers and fragrance. The species' flowers are star-shaped and waxy, grouped in umbels, pink and white, with a darker corona. They are fragrant. The color may vary. Flowering depends on the plant's maturity and growing conditions.

Identity. It is reported as a sport or revert of 'Argentea Princess', with shorter leaves and shorter internodes than 'Grey Ghost' (Cobia, 1970s).

Note: Plants with 2 leaves. The splash varies from one specimen to another. A random specimen from the existing stock will be shipped.

Substrate: use an airy, well-draining mix suitable for epiphytic species. We recommend the professional substrate for Hoya and Anthurium - SG Mix.
