Campe praemorsa
Acampe praemorsa is an orchid that can be found in the eastern Himalayas, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and in Yunnan and Hainan provinces in China. It is a large, monopodial species that develops in the form of clumps (groups of plants, nests), growing as an epiphyte in dry, semi-deciduous and deciduous forests, at altitudes from 600 to 1600 meters above sea level. . Acampe praemorsa blooms more frequently in autumn, developing a very short inflorescence, a few cm long, with many flowers (10-12) in a cluster, placed close to the axils of the leaves. The flowers are small, fragrant, with a smell similar to hyacinth. The plant requires partial sun and higher temperatures, with regular watering and fertilizing throughout the year to bloom properly.
