The rhizome is thin, and the growth is creeping, quickly forming dense mats – perfect for mounts or small pots.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eThe flowers appear singly on short (3-4 cm), spreading inflorescences, with a flower about 2 cm wide (opening widely). The sepals and petals are yellow-green with numerous fine irregular dark red spots (an exotic freckled look), the lip is purplish-red with blackish-purple warts, and the column is greenish with pink-purple wings.
