Sansevieria trifasciata 'Green Hahnii'

Sansevieria is a plant native to Africa, Madagascar, and southern Asia, and is grown here as a houseplant. It fares well with warmth and strong light, but will also tolerate shade. It is important that it is grown in well-drained soil and not overwatered.

In compact varieties of Sansevieria, the leaves grow very close to each other, and as they unfold, fine marks or small scars may remain caused by rubbing, pressure, or temporary drying of the tissue. These are not diseases, do not affect photosynthesis, and are considered natural growth features.
