Rebutia heliosa var. condorensis is a rare and particularly decorative variety of cactus native to the mountainous regions of Bolivia. It stands out through its globular, slightly flattened shape, densely covered with small areoles and fine, white spines, giving it an almost silky appearance. The spines are short and non-aggressive, making the plant easy to handle. When mature, it forms dense colonies by producing lateral offsets.

One of the most spectacular features is the flowering: large flowers in shades of pink, salmon, orange, or red, which beautifully contrast with the plant’s silvery-green body. Flowering usually occurs in spring, between April and June, and is considered abundant relative to the plant’s small size. The flower color may vary from one specimen to another, depending on growing conditions and individual genetics.
