Hoya parasitica "Black Margin" - an endemic species from Thailand and Vietnam. The plant is notable for its impressive, pointed leaves with black edges, silver splash, and prominent, structured venation.
The flowers are cream with a red center, pleasantly fragrant, and have a lifespan of approx. 7 days.
When the plant is grown in direct sunlight, the leaf edges color intensely, and the new leaves are almost black - hence one of the old names (Hoya parasitica "Black Leaves").
This variety has been sold over time under various names: Hoya parasitica "Black Margin", Hoya aff. parasitica, Hoya parasitica "Black Leaves", Hoya sp. Anjuk Ladang (Vietnam), Hoya EPC-301, Hoya Verticillata Sp. Anjuk Ladang, Hoya verticillata "Black Margin".
The specimens in stock have leaves with defects.
