Ctenanthe burle marxii 'Amabilis' (green leaves)

Ctenanthe is a plant native to Central and South America. It is related to Calathea and Maranta and shares the same characteristic of raising its leaves in the evening. So, do not be surprised if you hear noises at night: the rustling comes from the leaves sliding over each other!
Care:
- place the plant in a bright spot, but not in direct sunlight.
- keep the soil slightly moist; do not let the soil dry out. Water in small amounts regularly rather than a lot at once. Water once a week in summer, once every two weeks in winter.

This variety is sensitive to temperature changes. Therefore, you may receive these plants with some leaf blemishes, but these do not affect the plant’s vitality.
